  1. I heard about your novel on the Today show. Told myself I needed to pick it up. It would be months before that happened and weeks before I actually opened up the pages. I have not been able to put it down and now anticipating the sequel with much angst. Just finished the book today. What a great book and there is going to be seven!

I read somewhere that the novel targets adult readers but readers believe it to fall more into young adult. I can see where someone might think that because the character is only 19. I am only assuming that intend for Paige to grow up in those 7 books. Is the relationship between her and Warden to become "steamier" attaching a more adult reader?

    1. Thank you for reading it! I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. The novel is technically on Bloomsbury's Adult list, although it does have characters of many ages – it really depends how the individual reader wants to classify it. But yes, Paige will get older as the series goes on. (As for her relationship with Warden, that would be telling!)

  2. This novel has been the first I could read over and over. I could never understand how some readers could do that until this came along.

  3. This is great news! first the title to be revealed on the 20th...then news from Bloomsbury Australia that it will come out this year on Oct 1! All I need now is date for the cover reveal and im all set for Bone Season 2! More reason to look forward to October.
Books to look forward to this year:

    1) KILLER INSTINCT - the sequel to the New York Times Bestselling book THE NATURALS by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, which is about a teenage girl who has been recruited by FBI. Really good I swear.

Seventeen-year-old Cassie Hobbes has a gift for profiling people. Her talent has landed her a spot in an elite FBI program for teens with innate crime-solving abilities, and into some harrowing situations. After barely escaping a confrontation with an unbalanced killer obsessed with her mother’s murder, Cassie hopes she and the rest of the team can stick to solving cold cases from a distance.

But when victims of a brutal new serial killer start turning up, the Naturals are pulled into an active case that strikes too close to home: the killer is a perfect copycat of Dean’s incarcerated father—a man he’d do anything to forget. Forced deeper into a murderer’s psyche than ever before, will the Naturals be able to outsmart the enigmatic killer’s brutal mind games before this copycat twists them into his web for good?

    2) MENAGERIE - the first in a new Adult series by bestselling author Rachel Vincent.

When a visit to a traveling carnival exposes Delilah as a “monster,” she finds herself sold into the menagerie as an exhibit, stripped of all civil liberties, staring out through the bars of her cage at a world that now sees her as less than human. Locked up, denied even the most basic of rights and privileges, Delilah must call on her own inner strength and the bonds forged with her fellow captives to reclaim her future—and possibly spark a change in perceptions the world over.

    3) BONE SEAON 2 - no description needed. Cant wait!!!!

  4. Great to hear everything is going swimmingly for you. Really looking forward to learning the title and I have pledged to my Australian friend that I will ship Bone Season 2 immediately I get my hands on it.

Can you please tell me if there is any possibility of putting my name forward for an ARC of Bone Season 2? I am really keen to be invited to do an ARC - a great honour - assuming there will be an ARC, of course.

Keep up the good work. At this rate, you will have Bone Season 3 completed by July this year!

    Best wishes,

    Pete.

    1. Hi Pete,

I'm afraid I'm not in charge of ARCs; I'm not even sure if they're making them for Book 2.

    1. It should have the same release date in India as the UK, Australia and US, as Bloomsbury has an office in New Delhi.

  7. So exciting! I recently got the audiobook and re-read/listened. It's my opinion that one thing that defines a good piece of literature is being able to reread it and still discover new things, which I did. I'm looking forward to seeing if any of my many theories are correct!
